We look forward to seeing you on the courts.

Old Mutual Squash Club boasts 4 quality squash courts. The main court (#3) has a great seating area for spectators and all other courts have nice galleries to permit spectator viewing and team support.

Our clubroom has recently undergone an internal makeover, with all bathrooms being re-tiled, new carpeting and flooring throughout, all walls skimmed and painted, all court floors re-sanded and all court walls repaired and painted. We have drinks fridges, a microwave and braai area for entertaining.

Old Mutual plans to enter the following leagues for 2013

  • Men
  • 2nd, 4th, 8th · Tuesday nights
  • 10th · Youth side
  • 13th · Wednesday nights

  • Ladies
  • 4th · Monday nights

  • Masters
  • 3rd, 5th · Thursday nights

Final leagues to be confirmed based on promotion/relegation and potential last-minute membership

There are generally 10 sides per league each season (sometimes only 8 for Masters), so a season comprises 18 league fixtures with
9 home games.

You are also eligible to enter the WP Squash affiliated tournaments and the annual league knock-out competition.

The league normally starts in the second week of March, has breaks for the April and June school holidays, as well as Easter and other public holidays, and normally ends in early September.

Old Mutual will generally hold its annual Club Championships in September or October starting just before/after the September school holidays. The AGM generally occurs during this time.

While a little less formal, you can generally expect to find these teams practicing at these times:

MON1 court1 court
13th league
TUE1 court 2 courts
top leagues out of season
THU3 courts
SAT 3 courts
afternoon - social and all other interested players
1 court
2 courts
