Emily Innes is a registered dietician with a passion for partnering with people to help and inspire them to make dietary and lifestyle changes that will improve their health and wellbeing. She enjoys working with people to provide them with nutritional information and health inspiration, ensuring that they develop a healthy, happy relationship with food and their bodies.
Emily is able to give expert dietary advice and personal meal plans to assist you in disease prevention, management of various health conditions and diseases, weight management, and eating for sustained energy and optimal performance.
Emily has a degree in Human Nutrition (Bsc. Dietetics) from Stellenbosch University and is a registered dietician. She is a member of the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) which means that her services are covered by medical aid. It also means that Emily stays up to date with the latest scientific nutritional information, as required in order for her to stay registered with the HPCSA. Emily is also a member of ADSA. (Association for Dieticians South Africa).
Emily runs a private practice from Pinecare Medical Centre in Pinelands, Cape Town. She also works as a consultant dietician at Tygerberg Hospital where she works with HIV positive children, in association with Stellenbosch University and the Childrens Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Unit (KID-CRU) • www.kidcru.org.za.

GROUP TALKS & WORKSHOPSEmily is also able to do nutrition and health talks for groups such as schools, businesses, fitness groups, community or church groups.
VITALITY NUTRITION ASSESSMENTSEmily is a Discovery Vitality Wellness Partner. She is qualified to do Vitality Nutrition Assessments for Discovery Vitality members. This is an electronic dietary and lifestyle assessment and not a full dietary consultation. After the 40 minute assessment, the client will receive a report of the assessment as well as 5000 points. The cost is R275 and this amount is refundable from your Medical Savings Account.
