1st Pinelands Scout Group has a long history dating back to before
1928 when the Group was formally founded. Our Group has a history of
success as winners, many times over, of all major Scouting competitions
held in the Western Cape Province.
Many Springbok Scouts and successful businessmen have learned many
life-skills through their training at 1st Pinelands.
Scouting is open to all regardless of race or creed, in accordance with
the purpose, principles and method conceived by its founder Robert

The Cubs and Scouts of 1st Pinelands are proud to be part of the success
story of our Group and, with the active programme that is offered, every
Cub & Scout has the opportunity of fun and adventure and life experiences
that build character and develop good citizens.
